The Errata entries on my sidebar have also been fixed.

I’ve decided to go with a new theme. I wanted to go with something less “bloggy”. I found a nice two-column theme called RedPlanet which I modified.
I replaced their mars image with an hr element and changed the red elements to blue. I also created navigation and links menu items so I could get rid of the standard “sidebar” element to most Wordpress themes.
Like all of my themes, I tried to make something that was also usable with lynx.
Right now, my gallery is broken. I’m working on it.

Given interest from others in the Maryland area, I’ve started the Maryland BSD Users Group website. The goal is to hopefully find other interested Maryland (DC and Virginia) BSD users and developers to get together and discuss different topics related to managing and developing BSD.
There aren’t enough members yet to have regularly scheduled meetings. But, I guess we had an impromptu meeting tonight at the Olney Grille. :)

I happened upon a new video podcast the other day that is just great. It’s funny and smart and very entertaining. the show with zefrank features Ze Frank as a talking head presenting mostly current events in a humorous way. The writing (is it writing?) is clever, funny and thoughtful. The show is very well done and it is currently my favorite podcast.

I got sick of my old Picture Gallery (which was running Gallery, by the way). It was WAY too slow and cumbersome. So I built a small framework around igal.
The new Picture Gallery is simple and fast and easy for me to maintain. I’m going to write a nice little CGI script to allow us to easily post pictures to the site (soon-ish).
I’ll be migrating pictures from the old Gallery and importing new pictures over the next few <insert time period here>. Be patient.
