Hope the holiday was a relaxing one :)
It isn't the client that deals with the interactiveness, it's the
server. If you imagine, the normal unix way of working with IO things
is to have an input thread, an output thread and an error thread. The
Windows environment doesn't seem to handle the thread properly...
Hence your issue.
For the mean time, give my suggestion below a shot and if it's not
enough, I'll see what else I can turn up.
