key authentication & logging

Hello guys, I've just set up an OpenSSH Server, it works perfect using
password authentication; I'm trying to set up the client for automatic
connections using key authentication and I got this message at the client
after the banner: "Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive)."

Trying to diagnose it, but don't know how to enable logging on the server
and where the log info is located.

I tried

SyslogFacility AUTH

LogLevel VERBOSE

at the sshd_config file but I see no change at the /var/log folder

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.
