hello,
I use/need OpenSSH for SFTP only - synchronzing files between several
windows-machines.
Since the last daylight-saving change (from Oct. 28th to the 29th), a
lot of files show an +1 hour offset in the sftp-program only, although
the local timestamp is correct (and the same!) in the files on the
server and on the client-computer.
As a result, those files are marked as "remote is newer than local" in
the SFTP-program (tested with dreamweaver, win-ssh, etc.).
I believe this is a problem with Cygwin.
In the mailinglist-archives of cygwin.com, I found a suggestion, to
adjust the TZ-variable, but I have no clue, as to where to find this
variable in the OpenSSH-environment.
Regards,
Johannes Amersdorfer
ps: All computers are in the same timezone (+1 GMT), and the time is
automatically set by ntp.pool.org.
