Not to be a jerk or anything but questions about mysql, SSL, and so
forth might be better directed towards a mysql appropriate list. SSH
questions are a fine choice for this list though.

Have you looked at the documentation on mysql.com regarding SSL?
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/ssl-options.html might have the
information you need.
