Assuming the obvious ... that you have configured SSH to respond to port
443. This is normally used by HTTPS not SSH?

Does the local computer "see" the connection? Is it logged?

This adsl router is managed via a web interface (?). Verify that the router
doesn't listen to port 443 for it's own management purposes.
