Hi all,

Go this problems with the latest cygwin install when attempting to get
sshd up and running.
/var/empty must be owned by root and not group or world-writable.

Something strange appears to be happening with the permissions to this
folder.

I've tried chmod 744 & 755 for the system account. Once the permissions
have been assigned the error persists. The system account is definitely
in the passwd file. I have noticed from windows explorer when
investigating the windows permission on /var/empty that the local
system account is not listed with any permissions what so ever,
completely blank. Re-assinging the permissions for the system account
from here does not rectify the error.

chmod 744 =>
$ getfacl /var/empty
# file: /var/empty
# owner: SYSTEM
# group: SYSTEM
user::rwx
group::rwx
mask:rwx
other:r--
default:user::rwx
default:group::r-x
default:other:r-x

Anyone know what to do here?
