Please provide the entries from the Windows 2000 event log to assist
troubleshooting.

Hi,

I have installed Cygwin, as mentioned on tech.erdelynet.com website, on
a Win2K Secondary Domain Controller (SDC) and am logged in as Domain
Administrator not local Administrator. The problem occurs when I execute
the starting command for sshd: cygrunsrv -S sshd

The error returned is 1062, I even tried to start it manually from the
Services application, just to have it fail.

I have read the emails correspondance between Jane and others. I
checked all the permissions are set correctly, that SYSTEM has ownership
of the ssh files. I even tried to load sshd with the command: cygrunsrv
-I sshd - p /usr/sbin/sshd -a '-D' -d 'CYGWIN sshd' -e CYGWIN=ntsec tty'
-y tcpip
