I turned off Remote Access on the PC and kept the compatibility with 98 / ME
and it is working perfcetly. Thanks to everybody who helped. I see why the
other XP Pro PC worked. It did not have Remote Connection activated.

You must have Remote Desktop enabled in XP Pro, which takes over port 3389
(preventing ssh from using it). Disable Remote Desktop (System Control
Panel) and you probably won't need compatibility mode either.

When I type "localhost" it's not forwarding to the remote host. It's
actually trying to login to my local PC. On Windows ME it forwards
properly.

I take it back... it works. I could not access the comtibility option from
the shortcut I had, but I could on the main program Icon. Put it in 98
mode and works.
I hope they change this for the next XP version of TS Client.

You'ge got to run terminal services client in compatibility mode.
