I keep getting the following message on the destination machine's event log, periodically, when ssh is used to open a shell to this destination machine and read the contents of a directory. This problem just started after ssh traffic increased on this host.
-- Event Type: Error Event Source: sshd Event Category: None Event ID: 0 Date: 7/17/2003 Time: 6:30:47 PM User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Computer: WVHA2P07 Description: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( sshd ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: sshd : Win32 Process Id = 0x121C : Cygwin Process Id = 0x121C : fatal: monitor_socketpair: socketpair. -- The version of ssh running on this destination machine is 'OpenSSH_3.5p1 SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x009068f'/ This is a Windows 2000 host, version 5.00.2195. There is quite a bit of ssh traffic on this host. Sincerely, Mark Mynsted VHA Inc.
