RE: Win32 error 1062

First, try to make sure those files do exist. It is very possible that for
some reason, they were not generated. If they do exist, please report back
the size of each file. I have been experiencing similar problems with the
latest downloads (but not through a CYGWIN install).

I'm running a newly installed 2000 server. I'm following the

reinstalled with the same instructions a number of times.

I was getting this error: cygrunsrv: Error starting a service:
QueryServiceStatus: Win32 error 1062:
The service has not been started.", then saw on the mailing list
archieves to try going straight to the comand via /usr/sbin/sshd.

However, Im stuck again with this error now:
$ /usr/sbin/sshd.exe
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh_host_key
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh_host_rsa_key
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh_host_dsa_key
Disabling protocol version 1. Could not load host key
Disabling protocol version 2. Could not load host key
sshd: no hostkeys available -- exiting.

Any suggestions? I work in linux normally so please try to use as
little windows centric terminology as possible. I promise to
reciprocate from my end with linux when applicable.
