Like others have reported on this list, I too am having trouble getting sshd
to run.
I just downloaded and put cygwin on for the first time. So I am using the
latest packages (openssh-3.1p1).
My /etc/group just doesn't contain a 513 entry. I've regenerated it from
both local and domain copies..
Logins fail from both localhost and remote clients. The server is a Windows
2000 Service Pack 2 system that is the PDC / single server in a Active
Directory configuration. Does this have something to do with the problem?
Seems like my accounts are just not getting picked up by cygwin correctly.
Any help appreciated.
