Yes, sshd is being run as the local administrator in both cases. I don't
have a domain.... and when logged into the machine as administrator, I can
access network resources fine in windows, which is why this is puzzling me
so much. I don't understand why when running as the service, I can't
access network resources. For what I am trying to do, I will need to be
able to access network drives, etc. thanks for your reply.
