[ssh-l]

OK, I am just making the switch from a Linux
workstation to an XP environment. Had to get a UNIX
environment ASAP (sanity) so got Cygwin and trying to
make ssh and sshd working. Followed the directions
http://tech.erdelynet.com/cygwin-sshd.asp.

OK, I am able to log into the server (ssh localhost),
but it dumps me out immediately with a "Connection to
localhost closed by remote host" and "Connection to
localhost closed" message. Does this even from other
win2k boxes and OSX boses in the house.

However, I know I have logged in because the /etc/motd
comes up ("hey dude, you logged in!") but it then
immediately dumps me out.

Like I said, I am new here and this is probably a
no-brainer problem to solve, but I couldn't find it in
the FAQ or the archives... can anyone help? Also,
please tell me what other info would be required to
troubleshoot this problem (config files, whatever).

Thanks in advance for everyone's help. I am trying to
get this working at home so I can then do the same on
my work box ;-)
