I have been able to get the automatic login to work if I use ssh -1.

I have to double check if I have set up the approproate known host
information in my authorized_keys2 file.

We got this working with putty and windows clients
(let me know if you want instructions),
but when using the latest sources of ssh2 built on Linux (Intel),
it still prompts for a password.

I suspect a key compatibility problem ... key was generated
on Linux... We are going to try using ssh1
on Linux and see what happens. Cygwin's open-ssh
is supposed to be ssh2 compatible. At least I thought
it was.

We're trying to find a solution that works with all
client platforms and haven't found it yet. Cygwin isn't
working out very well.

I want to configure ssh / sshd to allow me to login to a remote windows
machine without having to type in the user's password.

I followed the instructions in the ssh and sshd man pages, but ssh is still
prompting for a password.

Can someone provide complete instructions. Thanks.
